The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced the third edition of the ASEAN India+ Shoppers in Thailand 2026 campaign on 16 October 2026. It runs from September to November under the concept "MORE VALUE. MORE THAILAND." and offers shopping, dining, accommodation and lifestyle privileges nationwide. This edition extends beyond ASEAN and India to also target travellers from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

More than 50 partners take part, including department stores, shopping centres, restaurants, Thai brands and hotels. TAT says selected privileges are valued at 500 to 2,000 baht, and visitors register through a campaign QR code or the campaign website. TAT's 2026 targets are 30,000 participating tourists, at least 10 million campaign exposures and no less than 244 million baht in tourism revenue. TAT states that the 2024 and 2025 editions together generated more than 81 million baht in tourism revenue.

TAT cites its 2025 international visitor survey, in which 91.05 per cent of international visitors shopped during their trips and shopping expenditure rose 21.04 per cent. For 1 January to 30 September 2026, TAT reports 23.4 million international arrivals, against a full-year 2026 forecast of 33 million international arrivals and 2.65 trillion baht in tourism revenue. The campaign targets and forecasts are TAT's own figures, not recorded outcomes.
