What Is the T3 Knowledge Hub

The T3 Knowledge Hub is the organized center of T3's content — the place where business, investment, ASEAN, culture, tourism, food, living, and official-resource content all live in one structured system. Deeper coverage of business, investment, and regional-expansion topics already lives on their own dedicated pages; this page is where you browse, search, and discover across all of it, including the guides and reports built to go further than any single page's scope.

Travel Essentials

Before You Travel to Thailand

Use official government services for entry information, immigration procedures and accommodation reporting. Requirements can change, so confirm details before travelling.

International traveller preparing Thailand arrival information

Thailand Digital Arrival Card

Non-Thai nationals entering Thailand generally must submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card before arrival. It replaces the former paper arrival card and is not a visa.

  • Submit within three days before arrival, including the arrival date.
  • Required for entry by air, land or sea, subject to official exemptions.
  • Prepare passport, journey, accommodation, contact and health-declaration information.
  • Children and infants are included in the requirement.
  • The official submission is free.
  • A new TDAC is required for each entry.

Please Note

Use only the official Immigration Bureau website. T3 does not collect or submit TDAC information.

Accommodation host reviewing a Thailand residence notification

TM30 Accommodation Notification

TM30 is generally the accommodation-notification responsibility of the house master, property owner, landlord, possessor or hotel manager — not the same process as the traveler's TDAC.

  • The accommodation provider generally reports a foreign national's residence to Immigration.
  • The notification is normally required within 24 hours after the foreign national begins staying at the premises.
  • Hotels commonly handle this as part of check-in.
  • Private-rental and long-stay visitors should confirm that the owner or responsible party has completed the notification.
  • Travelers may need to provide passport and arrival information.
  • Do not describe TM30 as the traveler's arrival card.
  • Do not confuse TM30 with TM47 90-day reporting.

Please Note

T3 provides general orientation only. The responsible accommodation provider and Thailand Immigration Bureau should confirm the current procedure.
