Bangkok to Host World Travel & Culture Expo 2026 from 29 to 31 October

The World Travel & Culture Expo 2026 (WTCE 2026) will take place from 29 to 31 October 2026 at IMPACT Mueang Thong Thani in Bangkok, according to a TAT Newsroom release published on 22 July 2026. It is organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Tourism Council of Thailand and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group under the theme "Smartly Link the World". The organisers say the event aims to drive tourism, trade and investment and to reinforce Thailand's role as an ASEAN hub for tourism and entertainment.

The expo brings together five specialised exhibitions: the Thailand Amusement and Attraction Parks Expo, the Thailand (Bangkok) Billiards Expo, the ASEAN LED Display, Prolight, Sound and Entertainment Technology Expo, the Asia Film, Television and Equipment Technology Expo, and the ASEAN Global IP Expo. TAT links the event to the 50th anniversary of Thailand–China diplomatic relations.

For context, organisers reported that the previous edition in 2025 had 300 exhibition booths and participants from 36 countries. TAT also reported 2,877,039 arrivals from China between 1 January and 20 July 2026, up 14.76 per cent year on year, and forecasts more than 5.13 million Chinese visitors for 2026.
