Thailand's exports reached USD 34,655.9 million in June 2026, a year-on-year increase of 20.8 percent and the 24th consecutive month of expansion, according to the June 2026 international trade report published by the Trade Policy and Strategy Office of Thailand's Ministry of Commerce on 24 July 2026. Excluding oil-related products, gold and military goods, exports expanded by 23.1 percent in the same month.

Industrial products were the main driver. The Trade Policy and Strategy Office reported that industrial product exports grew 25.1 percent year-on-year in June 2026, marking a 27th straight month of growth, with computers, equipment and components up 57.4 percent, telephones, equipment and parts up 186.1 percent, electrical accumulators and parts up 232.4 percent, machinery and parts up 22.6 percent, and circuit boards up 23.2 percent. The office linked this pattern to expanding infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence and smart devices. Agricultural and agro-industrial exports contracted by 6.5 percent over the same month, though rubber (+12.5 percent), sugar (+39.3 percent), canned and processed seafood (+17.5 percent) and pet food (+22.3 percent) all grew.

By market, exports to primary markets rose 25.5 percent year-on-year in June 2026, with growth to the United States (+44.3 percent), ASEAN's five original members (+40.5 percent), Japan (+22.7 percent), the European Union of 27 (+22.3 percent) and China (+4.9 percent), while shipments to the CLMV countries fell 5.6 percent.

For the first six months of 2026, the office reported exports of USD 196,741.8 million, up 17.6 percent, against imports of USD 228,485.9 million, up 38.0 percent, producing a first-half trade deficit of USD 31,744.0 million. Looking ahead, the office projected continued strong export growth in the second half of 2026 on electronics demand, while noting pressure from geopolitical tension and uncertainty over United States trade measures and import tariffs. It listed ongoing Ministry of Commerce work on new trade agreements, including Thailand–EU and ASEAN–Canada negotiations.
