Thailand's women's national volleyball team qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time in the country's history after winning the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Asian Championship in Tianjin, China, on 30 August 2026.

In the final, Thailand recovered from a 2-1 deficit to beat the host nation China 3-2, with set scores of 25-20, 11-25, 23-25, 25-18 and 15-10. The win defended the Asian title Thailand won in 2023 and, under the current qualification system, secured the team's place at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Both finalists also qualified for the 2027 FIVB Volleyball World Cup.

Outside hitter Sasipapron Janthawisut led Thailand's scoring in the final with 28 points, and middle blocker Thatdao Nuekjang added 18. Team captain and setter Pornpun Guedpard was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and was selected for the Dream Team alongside teammates Sasipapron and Thatdao.

The achievement was reported by Thailand's Government Public Relations Department on 31 August 2026 and by Volleyball World, the international governing body's official channel. On 3 September 2026 the team was received at Government House in Bangkok.
