Horizon Plus Co., Ltd.
Foxconn–PTT EV contract-manufacturing JV (status in flux)
Horizon Plus was formed as a joint venture between PTT (through Arun Plus) and Hon Hai / Foxconn to build a contract EV manufacturing facility in Chonburi's Rojana industrial park, originally announced at around US$1 billion with an initial capacity of 50,000 EVs per year rising toward 150,000 by 2030.
Status caveat, verified 17 August 2026: the plant has not been built. PTT reduced its stake from 60% to 40% and was subsequently reported to be divesting entirely, leaving Foxconn's side to take majority control; PTT's own CEO was reported saying the plant might not be built for several years. This entry is included because the venture is a real and materially referenced part of Thailand's EV investment narrative, not because a facility exists. Search-verified across Bangkok Post, Nikkei Asia and MarkLines reporting; treat all forward-looking capacity figures as historic announcements, not current capacity.
