Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region

AWS launched the Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region on 8 January 2025 with three interconnected Availability Zones, giving Thai organisations in-country data residency and low-latency access to AWS services. AWS states it plans to invest more than US$5 billion in Thailand, supporting an average of more than 11,000 full-time-equivalent jobs annually and adding an estimated US$10 billion to Thai GDP. Launch customers named by AWS include Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri), KASIKORN Business-Technology Group, True IDC, the Big Data Institute and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
