National customs authority
Thailand's national customs authority, under the Ministry of Finance. It administers import and export clearance, tariff classification, customs valuation, duty collection and post-clearance audit, and publishes national trade statistics. Its e-Customs environment — e-Import, e-Export, e-Manifest, e-Payment and e-Warehouse — has operated since 1 January 2007, alongside the Thailand National Single Window, giving importers, exporters, customs brokers and shipping lines a paperless declaration channel. The department also administers Thailand's Authorized Economic Operator programme.
